Truck and SUV transport

Transport planned around the real dimensions, weight, condition, and modifications of your pickup, crossover, or SUV.

Why accurate vehicle details matter

Trucks and SUVs take more trailer space than a typical sedan. Cab style, bed length, roof height, curb weight, lift kits, oversized tires, roof racks, and aftermarket equipment can change which transporter can safely load the vehicle.

Quick answer

Provide the exact year, make, model, trim, and all modifications when requesting a quote. Accurate dimensions prevent equipment mismatches and surprise price changes at pickup.

Open or enclosed for a truck or SUV?

Open transport is often the practical choice for standard pickups, crossovers, and SUVs. Enclosed transport may be appropriate for restored trucks, specialty builds, luxury SUVs, show vehicles, or vehicles with finishes that warrant added protection. Extremely tall or wide vehicles may have fewer enclosed options.

Tell us about modifications

  • Suspension lifts or lowering
  • Oversized wheels and tires
  • Roof racks, ladders, campers, or bed accessories
  • Nonfactory bumpers, winches, or running boards
  • Toolboxes or equipment that cannot be removed
  • Mechanical problems that affect loading

Preparing a larger vehicle

Remove unsecured equipment from the cab and bed. Retract or remove accessories when possible, secure hard covers, and disclose anything that changes the factory dimensions. Leave about a quarter tank of fuel and make sure the battery, steering, tires, and brakes are ready for loading.

Large transport trucks need safe clearance. Residential streets with low branches, tight turns, weight restrictions, or parked vehicles may require meeting the driver at a nearby commercial lot.

What affects the price?

Distance and route availability remain important, but vehicle footprint and weight have a greater effect for trucks and SUVs. Transport type, operating condition, season, and pickup flexibility also contribute to the quote.
