What is needed for pickup?
A smooth commercial pickup depends on complete release information. Before dispatch, confirm that the vehicle is paid for and released, then provide the buyer or member number, lot or stock number, VIN, pickup address, contact information, business hours, and any gate or loading instructions.
The transporter cannot collect a vehicle until the seller or auction has released it. Confirm paperwork, storage deadlines, hours, vehicle condition, and whether loading assistance is available before scheduling.
Avoid storage charges and missed pickups
Auctions and storage facilities may charge daily fees after a deadline. Share the exact last free storage date and any appointment requirements. A narrow release window or urgent deadline can reduce carrier options and affect the quote, so contact us as early as possible.
Disclose the vehicle’s true condition
Listings do not always describe loading condition accurately. Confirm whether the vehicle starts, drives, rolls, steers, brakes, has keys, and has inflated tires. Note collision damage, missing parts, locked steering, low clearance, oversized dimensions, or loose body panels.
An inoperable vehicle may require a winch or forklift assistance. If the facility does not provide loading assistance, that information is essential before a carrier is assigned.
Single and multi-vehicle moves
One vehicle can often move on a shared open or enclosed route. Multiple vehicles may travel together or be divided between carriers depending on equipment, locations, timing, and vehicle sizes. Provide a complete inventory so the plan reflects the actual load.

Can the vehicle be picked up without me there?

Can you transport a salvage vehicle?

What if the seller’s description is wrong?
Stop and confirm the new condition before loading. A material difference in size, operability, or damage can require different equipment and pricing.
